How does the Experience report work?

Uncover your current skill set, and get insights on where you excel and what you need to develop.

As the first-of-its-kind, AI-powered career designer, Josie is trained on over 70 million resumes and CVs to find your best matches. You can sync your LinkedIn profile or add your work experience manually and let us do the rest. We’ll categorize your experience into soft and hard skills within our Experience report so that you can see what you already excel at and what you need to do to get to the place you want to be in your career.

The score you will get is related to your current or most recent title, and you can see how you compare to the average of people in the same role. The score is broken down into four parts: job experience, education, hard and soft skills.

Job experience shows you how relevant your last 10 years of job titles are to your most recent job. The more experience you have in a job, the more recent you have had that job and the more relevant they are to your current role, the higher the score you will have.

Education gives you an understanding of the relevancy of your field of study to the role and the ranking of the University or College you went to.

Hard skills are usually more technical, like knowing certain software programs or having a specialized certification. The score shows you how relevant your set of skills is to a specific title.

Soft skills, however, are more flexible and abstract, but often just as important—things like leadership skills or public speaking—which are transferable between jobs and industries. The score for the soft skills is based on how relevant they are to a specific title.
